Pricing for the murals varies. It depends on the quality of paint and amount of detail. All murals are priced by the square foot however other costs may be added for such things as panels, scaffolding, man-lifts, installation or travel.
Here is a basic rundown to help you put together an estimate for your project.
Preliminary sketches... $ 40 per hour (includes researching images or subject matter)
Cartoon graphics... $ 15 to $ 25 per square foot (depending on the detail)
Super Graphics are... $ 25 to $ 40 per square foot (depending on the detail)
Fine Art Murals are... $ 60 to $ 80 per square foot (depending on the detail)
Panels of aluminum run about... $ 75 per 4 x 8 ft. sheet
Contact your local rental company for rental costs of scaffolding or man-lifts.
Travel costs... .45 cents a mile plus $ 150 per day of travel.
